Associate Attorney - Litigation & Trial Opportunity
A well-established Los Angeles defense firm is seeking a skilled and motivated Associate Attorney to join its litigation team. This position offers the opportunity to gain substantial trial experience and handle a wide range of complex civil defense matters, including police liability, employment law, and general liability.
Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload involving defense litigation in state and federal courts.
Conduct legal research, draft motions and pleadings, and appear in hearings.
Take and defend depositions; attend mediations.
Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys in trial preparation and courtroom proceedings.
Handle litigation tasks independently with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
Active member of the California State Bar.
3-8 years of civil-litigation experience.
Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
Proven ability to manage cases independently.
Deposition or courtroom experience preferred.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary range $160,000 - $210,000 DOE.; 50-70 hour during temp period
